vanquish vs. flyboys post match review on 25th november.
It was another dissapointing day for the vanquish team as they suffered another loss.The match was delayed for about half an hour that day. The vanquish had difficulties to produce their 1st eleven with only 8 players turned up. The assistant captain almost forfeited the game to avoid any further embarassment. Then the team captain Joshua manage to come together with Mamat, who have just arrived from duty with Big K and Alifs slot in the 1st eleven just in time for kick off. The captain was not happy with the team player attendance but cant really blame them for that. The 1st eleven for the vanquish were joshua (g.keeper), big k, hairol, alifs and suhaidi (back four), firnas, irman-supa, shidee and hekmal (mid-field), c-pin aidil and mamat (forward).
The match started slowly with both team controling the game in the mid park though in my point of view the vanquish had more swift and controlled passes between themselve. Lack of penetration in the penalty box from both team with a few tries of long range shot caused both goalies no trouble. The flyboys started their attack mostly on their right side giving big k and hairol on constant alert. And they relied heavily on the speed of their left wing to give them more attacking option which was marked by suhaidi with alifs came as a follow up. The Vanquish missed the chance to put them on the led as cpin aidil failed to score as his shot was wide. It was the only real chance from the Vanquish in the 1st half. The flyboyz' keeper was well beaten when he took the risk to move towards his left penalty edge trying to block hekmal superb cross which he failed leaving the goal area wide open. The ball was intercepted nicely by cpin aidil only for him taking too much time to take the shot with only a staggering centre back to beat. The flyboyz started to compose themselve and created a few chances for them when finally they drew the 1st blood of the game. It was a really good thru ball from Azman to their left winger. Noticeably suhaidi was outpaced by the lightning speed from the marvelous winger before he crossed the ball towards inside the penalty box. Joshua managed to catch the ball but unfortunately had not got a firmed grip on the ball. It slipped in front of the flyboys striker who had no trouble to tap in the ball to put it home just before half time.
2nd half started with some changes of players frm both team with the vanquish switched 4 players to give the vanquish extra air to breath in (ak.rezan, kazama, ali razali and rufian). The captain reassembled the line up a bit wit him taking the striker role together with shidee giving way to rufian taking the right wing and hekmal switch to left flank. Ali razali took over the glove, ak.rezan replacing bigk on right back with kazama took control midfield over the injured firnaz. The flyboys began 2nd half strongly creating more chance giving vanquish a few moments of scare. Ali razali stepped up to the challenge pretty well and produced excellent saves. The flyboys were look very dangerous on their fast counter attack. The vanquish got their equaliser on a goal frm the in-form team captain. Beutiful pass frm irman supa to joshua who dragged through and beat the offside trap setting him facing the vulnerable keeper one on one before joshua slid the ball pass to score a memorable goal.
On the hour the flyboys again break through the fragile vanquish back four to led the scoreline 2-1. The flyboys scored their 2nd after their winger clearly handled the ball (claimed to handball were ignored by the ref) to gain possession inside the penalty box before squaring it to their striker who then land a thunderous strike passed the goal line.
The vanquish clearly dissapointed by the goal and began to loss more ball coverage. There was also a moment of madness from their captain joshua who intentionally trying to block a goal kick with his hands. The ref hve no choice but to give a precaution card.(what was he thinking?). After various of attack from the vanquish finally bearing a fruit.. The vanquish got their 2nd equaliser frm a good move frm joshua after he won the ball from the flyboys midfield and dragged it to the left. Seing his left winger run break free, he passed it to rufian to create a one-two. Quick respönd frm joshua to loop the ball a jump high inside the penalty box and got a slight touch of shidee's head to put it through the net.. The vanquish faithfull were up and down celebrating the goal making hell of a noise..
The vanquish made their last change of the match substituting joshua with faisalcso to give a much more holding option for the team with 10 mins to play.. In the dying mins of play the vanquish were eagered to finish the match with a first win against the flyboys. They put up the gear to overdrive and attack with their might leaving alifs as the last man. Once again the vanquish got caught up with the flyboys blastering speed on their counter attack setting 3 of their player free and beat alifs and lastly the helplessly ali razali. All the other vanquish could do were stare in davastatedly as the ball rolled swiftly home.
Final score flyboys 3 vanquish 2. Eventhough the vanquish lost the match, both the captain and the assistant were pleased with the improved overall performance of the team and hope for the best yet to emerge from the team.

TIRING TRAINING NIGHT 22.11.2009
Players attendance was a little bit of disappointment last nite due to the raining season.
Teams were divided into two, exactly five people per team without any subtitutes.
Team A lines-up

CSO ADAM, JACK(AHMAD HUMAIZI),CSO FAISAL,ALI RAZALI & FAIZ
02 mins played Armandi opened a goal for Team A with a tricky shot, Jack, Team B goolie was in a big shocked, couldn't believe that Armandi could put the ball into the net.2nd goal came from capt joshua, ran in between 02 of team B players before firing the bullet.
When Jack was played as a midfielder, eventough he was not totally fit, the ball that he passed to cso adam was extremely accurate, good foot work & an individual skilled by cso adam really tested the capability of team A defender, unfortunately all of his shot was saved by Armandi.
On the other side of the court, an ambitious shot from nizam chef & muliadi was pushed over the bar by cso Faisal Team B keeeper, almost every shot was cleverly saved by him until he blistered his arm but luckily didn't injured himself(becareful boss).
15 min played Armandi was off the court by himself, he said his 'ampus' has stopped him from playing even as a goolie.(poor Armandi).When team A was handicapped & short of 01 players, cso Adam took that opportunity & managed to score 02 goal while armandi rested and took a breathe.
HALF TIME WHISTLE, BOTH TEAMS HAD A BREAK FOR 10 MINUTES.
Cleared sky with a beautiful blinking star, 2nd half begun. both teams were eagered n excited to score more goal. Once 2nd half begun, team A were controlled the game & continued to attack, more goal from muliadi, nizam chef & boy norfaisal, suddenly team B were given a panelty kicked b'coz Armandi was found catching the ball over the goolie line, but failed to finish by cso adam.
While team A were excited attacking their opponent, armandi was the only player left alone with cso adam. Armandi learned from his mistakes that catching a ball over his line will destroyed his frineds dreams to win the match that nite, so he headered any long ball that came to him to away the ball from cso adam, unfortunately the ball was going backwards into his net instead of foward, everybody laughed and we called it GOAL OF THE NIGHT. Game was hold for a few minutes due to the players were unabled to stop laughing(WHAT A GREAT OWN GOAL BY ARMANDI) hehehehe,
Team B were changing their tactic & strategy, when Ali razali became their goolie, a shot from joshua, nizam chef, muliadi & boy norfaisal were saved brialliantly by him, any angle and anywhere, long ball, short ball, hard ball, soft ball, ground and high ball were failed to score by team A players. Tired & frustrated. Another new talented keeper was found that nite. ALI RAZALI

vanquish vs. flyboyz..

JOY OF THE DAY FOR THE VANQUISH (13.11.09)
Raining season was just started, another friendly game was held again tonite between the vanquish and the AJK PIRANHA.but b'coz of the shower rain & wet condition, the match was delayed for half an hour before kicked off.
The ajk piranha were missing 3 of their key players,EJ(keeper),CSO ADAM(striker) & IRMAN SUPA(midfielder) but that would never stopped them to face the great vanquish.
Some times after kicked off in the early minutes, a striked from MAMAT failed to save by the visitor's keeper HAIRI and that made the vanquish lead the game. AJK PIRANHA were never gave up, they did their best to sting the poison bite to the vanquish until a long smashed from KAWI had levelled the game. The vanquish keeper tought he could hold the ball with his leg, but it slipped under his leg instead. Just before half time, two of the vanquish players had a misunderstanding that gave SHARIF DOL an easy kicked to the vanquish net.
Half time-10 minutes break.
2nd half- MAMAT the vanquish striker was just like the hungry lion hunting his prey on the concrete court. Five minutes later he score another 02 goal for his team, followed by another 02 goal by the vanquish stopper ALIFS. Good set up by the vanquish skipper JOSHUA, let ALIFS as free man & one on one with the visitor's keeper, without failed he netted the ball with a wide smiled.The AJK PIRANHA seemed to look lost in the middle of the open court, the target they shot seemed to be vanished from their vision.Either JACK, MINAN, REZAN or SHARIFF DOL, they pull the trigger with the expired bullet. When SHARIFF DOL receive the ball from JACK, he did a nice foot worked with a great stepped but failed to passed the vanquish defender RUDI HAMDAN.
The vanquish skipper was a happy man to-nite, a brilliant set up by CSO FAISAL, a great passed by MAMAT& a beautiful crossed by RUDI HAMDAN made him a hat-trick player that nite.
Not long after the skipper's hat-trick, CSO FAISAL scored another 02 goal for the vanquish, and another 02 goal scored by the vanquish defender RUDI HAMDAN. In between CSO FAISAL & RUDI HAMDAN GOAL, 02 shot from JOSHUA were saved by HAIRI, 01 shot from ALIFS was smashed into AJK PIRANHA cross-bar.
Till the end of the game, AJK PIRANHA 2- THE VANQUISH-UNCOUNTABLE!

THE VANQUSH & AJK PIRANHA WERE TIES AGAIN
Last nite was a very entertaning match between the two teams. Vanquish team captain JOSHUA(just returning back) was not very happy with his boys performance last nite,
"We should win the game, we possessed and controlled the game, but the luck was not on our side" said the skipper.
The vanquish dominated the opening minutes of the contest but failed to turn their dominance into goal.
Akmal from vanquish went closed just 2 minutes into the game when he raced onto kazama's passed and cut in from the right but his striked was such a wastefull shot.
The vanquish skipper was not in a good mood when his touched & controlled was not in a good paced after he had a long rest.
A few minutes later, cso Adam tested the vanquish stopper(Alifs), twisted & turning even a shooting from him was calmly blocked by the stopper.
The vanquish striker netted the ball, a neat passed from the skipper Joshua, lead the vanquish ahead of the AJK PIRANHA.
Arafiq(on loan to AJK) striked a shot from the center of the court but the ball smashed against the crossbar.
While Jack(ahmad Humaizie) dribbled the ball by himself and about to cross the ball to cso Adam, with no one around him and no nobody pushed him, all of sudden he felt down and nearly injured himself. Referee that nite was about to give him a yellow card for diving but instead carried on laughing for his funny felt followed by the others players and the audience,Jack! Jack! what happen to you?

The Vanquish Vs AJK.Piranha (rematch)
Tonight, subject to weather condition, a rematch between ajk.piranha against the home side the vanquish will be held at rbrc sport complex at 8.30pm. Will the piranha's swarm out and bite the heck up the vanquish or will they fall for the baits set to trap them and ends up in the vanquish's frying pan?

The Vanquish vs. Ajk.piranha
Last night the Vanquish had a friendly match against the boys who called themself ajk.piranha. A match that almost called off because of heavy rain. Much to our relief it stop at 8pm. Wet condition of the court forced us to delay the kick off.
The match started at 9pm. Although the vanquish controlled the ball for most of the time, it was the vanquish who conceded the 1st goal. The goal came frm a wildcard, sarip, who beutifully looped the ball high on air droping towards the unguarded goal area. It cought arafiq by surprise. The Vanquish were down by 2 goals when cso faisal fired a superb goal frm close range after several attempts saved fantasticly by the agile piranha's goalie. At half time the score line was level at 4 a piece. Cso faisal manage to score a hat-trick with suhaidi did a half volley punched out by the keeper only back to Suhaidi. He then make no mistake on the rebound to nick a goal just before the break.
In second half after what it seems to a one-sided match, again it was the vanquish left trailing by 1 goal. The equaliser came after a quick and swift passes between the vanquish players before setting khalid free facing the opponent's keeper mano to mano to score the final goal of the night. The final whistle blowed on time but not before a good long range effort a few inche over the bar from Qawi. Final result the vanquish 5, ajk.piranha 5. There will be a rematch on the 8th of november.

Practice nite
Last night came as another dissappointing evening. Only 5 members turned up!! Last week game cancelled due to wet condition of the court after a massive downpour during the day.
This month we are going to miss several players. Our captain joshua had an operation to get his appendix removed. He will be rested and out of action most probably throughout the rest of the year. (Get well soon boss). Nizam@chèf is also missing. His wife just gave birth to a baby boy( kali lah alum plg ia gtau p tliat ku dlm facebooknya ). Congratz to you bro.
Nevertheless, we didnt let the night goes by as a waste that easy. We did some laps before training session began. Practicing some of the basic passing, heading, corner taking etc. And also some of the tactics and movements which will be use on friendly game nxt thursday night. Its all thanks to alifs coaching (ia star kali ah ganya tlampau mahal bayarannya).

Vanquish vs Flyboys . 07.10.2009
Hello boys and girls, this is a story about a new born futsal/ football team name THE VANQUISH, so do take your kit kat and enjoy your reading.
It was only the friendly game for the vanquish futsal team against the flyboys football team, but the attendance and the crowd were surprisingly unexpected. From friends, highflyers players, fans, lsupporters and photographer were all came, participated giving the sports and moral support to the underdog vanquish futsal team.
As for a football tradition before kicked off, group photo were taken by the one and only our female photographer HJH NORNA, and a group photo with the flyboys football team too.
For the first 20mins after kicked off, the vanquish controlled the game, good passing ball between the 2 midfielder kamarul zaman and nizam chef, created more chances to the vanquish striker zubair and nasib to pull the trigger and shooting straight to the flyboys keeper, unfortunately as a handicap team they failed to score not even a single goal.
A few counter attacked made by the flyboys, gave the vanquish CenterBack FIRNAS, a little bit of shaked,but luckly the flyboys' striker shoot was off the target.
The flyboys were never gave up, their attacking were from left and right, even fired the bullet from the center giving the vanquish goolie busyman on the field, brilliant and marlvalous saved from the vanquish goolie JACK kept both team tied 0-0 till the end of the 1st half.
As the 2nd half began, both team were still trying their very best to score goal, new faces came in to replaced the fatique and tired players, variety tactic and skilled were applied, and yet the score are still 0-0
In the 65th min,a long range shoot from the vanquish capt JOSHUA, nearly put the vanquish in front,unfortunately the shoot was just a few inches over the bar.
10 mins before the 2nd half ends, the flyboys took the advantage from the counter attacked, a young import flyboys player ??( ALAN BRADLEY SON) took a brilliant shoot from the edge of the panelty box with a powerful striked failed to save by the vanquish keeper, as the ball was neatly placed inside the net, a big and loud celebration from the flyboys fans, supporters as well as the players could be heard almost the entired complex, but that wouldn't effect the vanquish sport spirit, attacking and firing bullet were made instead.
Brip! Brip! and that was the end of the game, final scored. the vanquish 0-1 flyboys.It was very enjoying match after all.

Practice game
Last nite we had practice game. We are back for practice after 2 weeks break. Turned out a lot of attendees came for the practice game.. Surprisingly about 14 players. At the end of the game we were given a briefing about the friendly football match today by our captain joshua.

Tonite the vanquish taste the 1st friendly game match defeat. Without the team captain (due to other commitment) the team seems shooting a blank bullet, aimless and disorganise. The vanquish poised a perfect start by scoring the 1st goal of the game by suhaidi. Then came the equaliser after few minutes later. The vanquish scored the 2nd time before a defensive error gave the visitors another equaliser. The vanquish began to stumble, every attack seems to be in vain. The visitors played a good passing games and had a few shots on target with the woodwork came as the last defence for the vanquish. With every move made by the vanquish successfully read by the visitors, the opponent finally scored the 3rd goal as the scorer came through the defence area unchecked. The visitors were very fast on the break which left several of the vanquish players to stood in amazement. Several defensive error by the vanquish led the 4th goals in the simillar manner. The away side add another 2 goals toward the end of the match.
Final score the vanquish 2, visitors 6. There will much to be question when the captain return to the squad particularly in the defensive point of view. Improvement will be the main agenda. Hopefully we'll get a better result on the next game.

Good game of futsal
Tonite was another fine game. Good display frm the vanquish team member though we didnt have a frenly match actually. Team members divided into 2 team of 4. We started the game with light shower pouring down which eventually stopped during the game. We then joined by some of my frens to make it 7 vs 7. Though its kinda pack but it was fun. We started the game wit a slow passing game due to the slippery court condition. As the court gets drier the pace of play become faster and interesting with plenty of goals frm both side( i lost track of the score). The game ended exactly at 1030pm.
Team member attended were Ak.kamarulzaman(not his best game but plenty of important contribution to team mate), Kristomo( had a few goals bagged,influencial in mid terrorising the defence), khairul anwar(miss a few chances to score,hmm ball control needed), khairul akmal(as ussual fast and lethal), Hairol ajak(preety solid and commanding in defence) and suhaidi( some passing error).

Friendly game
We had a friendly game last nite. It was 6 vs 6 between the vanquish and the team frm lambak jalan bedil. It was really a tight, fast paced match with the visitor leading in the 1st half due to some defensive error made towards the end of the 1st half. But in the end we won the match with a goal different. Final result vanquish 9 visitors 8. Hurray...!! Its really unfortunate our captain cant join us as he was on duty but we got through it under the leadership of Faisal-cso.
